Robert’s highlights of 2023 gaming in review: Life is Strange & Radiis
Life is Strange was one of two highlights of the year: Choices matter, strong protagonist, meaningful and tough decisions, whew, what a rollercoaster ride. If you haven’t played it yet, try the Remastered version.
The second highlight was Radiis: With simple mechanics the developers have created a versatile, infinitely replayable strategy experience like few others. Something between RTS and Turn-based, you gotta conquer enemy lands and attack enemy structures via the range and pressure of your buildings. Easy to learn, hard to master and incredibly addictive. Gosh, I even downloaded maps from the workshop and played some quite intensely.

Steam Replay 2023:

As usually Civilization 5 was leading the pack of games being played in 2023. Followed by Radiis and Railroad Ink Challenge, which unfortunately can not be finished and thus is not in the list of finished games. Here’s my complete overview!
2024 outlook
Let’s see what 2024 brings (brought)! There’s definitely already 2 things going: “It takes two” for co-op and finishing some long open single player achievements in games too painful to finish in one go. Furthermore I’m a loyal member of the Civilization 5 Multiplayer community using the GIANT MULTIPLAYER ROBOT.
